The Data Science for Social Determinants Training Program is seeking applications for post-doctoral & faculty fellow positions. 
Are you a scholar based in Africa who’s interested in developing as a future leader in data science? 
The DSSD program is open to those interested in data science and social determinants, and who have completed or will be completing a doctoral degree.
Bakcgrounds in informatics, statistics, medicine, and other fields are welcome! 
Faculty fellows and postdocs will spend 1-2 semesters in New York, taking courses across NYU including the School of Global Public Health, Tandon School of Engineering and Center for Data Science. Trainees will also work on research with a joint membership by NYU and Moi University faculty from Kenya. 
The program, will enable trainees to become equipped to develop and analyze data to capture and incorporate information on the social determinants of health in analytic models.
