Dr. Milka Gesicho currently works as an independent digital health consultant for various organizations. Her most recent work is on the Uwezo wa Dijit Kenya (UWADI-KE) project which is a collaboration between Swedish and Kenyan healthcare researchers focused on educating healthcare providers on treating musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Gesicho obtained her PhD in Health Informatics from the University of Bergen in Norway where she still serves as a member of the Norwegian Research School of Global Health. Dr. Gesicho's current research interests focus on the general applications and implications of Machine Learning and AI in data science.
